Natanis Spring Letter 2006
3/06
Dear Natanis Members and Friends,
Allen and his assistant superintendent Charlie, head mechanic Alden and
handy man Lou have been working to get the course, equipment and buildings in
shape and none too soon as playing appears to be just around the corner.
The biggest project now is clearing all the trees that have blown down
over the course of the winter.
The clubhouse will be ready for your golfing needs any day.
The Nike Sasquatch driver is already available in the shop, as are
Titleist, Cobra, Ping and Nike products (putters, hybrids, irons, balls etc.)
As usual there will be a sale of last year’s equipment this spring.
Dick is available for anyone looking to get a jump on custom fitted clubs
or club regripping and repairs.
In the interest of growing the sport of golf we are entertaining the
possibility of two new programs this year. The
first, a family program would have families and their small children play in a
recreational league Saturday afternoons. The
family league would involve a shotgun start on nine holes, instruction, dinner
at the end of play and a tee shirt for those involved.
The second program we are contemplating is a limited day care service for
those having trouble getting out to play during the week due to little ones at
home. We are looking for input from
anyone who might be interested. Please
contact the pro-shop with suggestions or interest.
The open house this year will be on March 25 and 26.
We will be open both days
